Our glamping units are situated around our peaceful fishing lake, making this area best suited to adults seeking a quiet and relaxing stay.

Our glamping units are spaced out around our fishing lake, in our quiet area’. You will be surrounded by farmland and forests, with plenty of walks to choose from.
We are walking distance from Eggesford Train Station, the Fox and Hound Restaurant/Bar and Eggesford farm shop and cafe.
Perfect for special occasions or a spontaneous break away. Prices stay the same mid-week or weekend, with no minimum nights, so you can stay as long or as little as you like.

The Pyrapod – £80 per night. 1-2 adults & Pet friendly

Unique Pyramid shaped glamping accommodation in secluded area next to fishing lake. A spacious cabin with log burner, double bed, kitchenette, dining table and chairs. Solar lighting and USB ports. Outside you have a private decking area with fire pit/BBQ, table and benches and 2 deckchairs.
In the kitchenette, you have everything you need. Double gas burner, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, pans, double gas burner and kitchen utensils, Cool box and ice packs. Washing up facilities, with liquid, sponge and tea towel – you just need to bring your food, drink and bedding & towels.
The Pyrapod will sleep 2 adults, maximum 2 pets (£5 each pet per stay). This is the only glamping unit with it’s own private compost toilet.
Please note: Bedding is not included. Guests should bring their own duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillowcase, and base sheet.
The Cabin -£80 per night. 1-2 adults & Pet Friendly

Nestled on the fishing lake’s edge, with a covered deck area. A fire pit/BBQ, all complemented by the tranquil view of our wildlife-rich lake.
The cabin can comfortably accommodate two guests. Inside is a log burner, ensuring a relaxed and homely atmosphere immediately. A double bed, double gas burner, cool box, kettle, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, USB charging points. Washing up facilities, with liquid, sponge and tea towel – you just need to bring your food, drink and bedding & towels.
The Cabin will sleep 2 adults, maximum 2 pets (£5 each pet per stay).
The front porch offer table and benches, deckchairs, a fire pit/BBQ, all complemented by the tranquil view of our wildlife-rich lake.

The Lotus is perched majestically on a raised platform looking across to the fishing lake. Contains a double and a single futon. Outside kitchen area with double gas burner, plates, cups, glasses, utensils for kitchen and BBQ/fire pit. Icebox and ice packs . Washing up sink, fresh water, liquid, sponge and tea-towel. You just need to bring your food, drink and bedding & towels.
Deck chairs, picnic bench and umbrella in private garden area.

The Ark – £60 per night. 1-2 adults

The Ark is situated next to our fishing lake. Inside there is seating with storage and table that drops down to create a double bed. Includes gas burner, cool box, kettle, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, USB charging point and solar lighting. Washing up facilities, with liquid, sponge and tea towel – you just need to bring your food, drink and bedding & towels. Outside is a secluded seating area with table and benches, 2 deck chairs and a fire pit/BBQ,.

Only available to guests booking one of the above Glamping accommodations, no extra charge. Mirror carp and grass carp in fishing lake. The pictures below are from 2024 so they are a good size now. We ask you to consider your fellow glampers when choosing your area to fish. Why not set yourself up for fishing at dusk and watch the bats circling the fishing lake.
LAKEMOOR DEVON FISHING RULES
PLEASE
- Dawn to dusk fishing (no overnight fishing)
- Use barbless hooks only and not larger than size 6
- Landing nets and unhooking mats must be used
- Only prepared (shop bought) particles, nuts and pulses to be used
- Make sure nets, mats and slings are disinfected and dry before fishing commences
- Maximum 2 rods per angler
- All fish must be returned to the lake in a timely manner
- Take your litter away with you
- Keep your dogs out of the water and clean up after them
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult over 18
